What a month! The epic photoshoot for Designs to you, which I am still in the middle of processing, followed by a beautiful wedding in Uluwatu (Bali). The new Mr and Mrs Stanhope celebrated in a relaxed but sophisticated style. Thoughtful additions such as little parasols and personalized fans helped to keep their guest cool.(Mohitos and Pina coladas helped as well). This was definitely a wedding to remember.

Once the Wedding ended I was hoping to swim in the infinity pool but this was far from my reality. Instead I was worried at the thought that my photography entry to the AIPP would be judged in the next hour or so. I watched the  whole event streamed from Bali, watching eagerly as my photograph was being scrutinized in my hometown, Melbourne. After five judges deliberated over the colour, style and post processing, I was awarded a ………………………………Silver Award!

Not bad I suppose, especially as this was my first time participating in such an event. This has just increased my desire to win. Please stay tuned for next year as I hope to further build on these foundations and try to win gold.
